As well as my usual one-to-one classes - I have got together with Diana East for a very special joint teaching course on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 27th and 28th June 2009

This is a Full Professional Grounding Course in making Lampwork Beads. No experience is necessary, beginners particularly welcome. CLICK HERE for more details.

Diana and I are also please to announce a NEXT STEPS - intermediate course at Studio 19 in Enderby on 1st and 2nd August 2009. This is a follow-on course from the Beginners Course. CLICK HERE for more details.

If you fancy something exciting and different I am also offering a mixed media weekend called Redhotminx. No experience is necessary - bring yourself or team up with a mate and have a wonderful time! NEXT CLASS - to be confirmed

The Venue for all group classes is at Studio 19, Diana's very comfortable and well equipped studio in Enderby, Leicestershire (which is about ten miles from my studio). The course is aimed at beginners and runs for two days. Price is £250 for the two days, where you will have complete access to both Diana and myself as tutors. If you are interested in attending this course, please get in touch with me in the first instance and I can give you more details, check availability and book you in.

Incidentally - if you like to buy handmade lampwork beads from Ebay but are put off by having to trawl through acres and acres of listings of cheap and nasty Chinese imports you might like to know about the SRA system. SRA stands for Self Representing Artist. This is a body set up by Melinda Melanson, you may like to check out the website. A self representing artist is someone who creates and sells their or their immediate families work. A self representing artist does not sell mass produced beads under the SRA logo.

I've been a member for a little while - look out for the logo:

If you'd like to search through handmade glass beads made just by SRA members just click here

Oh - don't forget to visit the Top 100 Lampwork websites for more lampworking people and beads, and if you like the site - please rate it. Thanks everyone.
